Here are two views of Breeze Point
Landing in Warren, Pennsylvania, which was
featured in the New York Times in their Great
Homes and Destinations section.
Warren has been called a potential "tourist
mecca" by one local government planning
group. A Hampton Inn is under construction
and the local tourist organization has
instituted a 3-year plan to refurbish the area.
Warren County has some of the least
developed tourist industry in the state.
Among unlimited popular outdoor activities
are hunting, fishing, hiking, canoeing, bicycle
touring, ATV trail riding, horseback riding,
snowmobiling and camping in the
half-million acre woods.
The U.S. Canoe Association will hold a
fourth national competition here in August of
2009. (Continued on next page.)
Paddling through a rural city is a welcome
lifestyle change for those tired of crowded
suburbs and the high cost of commuting.
