Fishing the tailwaters of Kinzua Dam
(continued from previous page)
In the 1990s nearly 90 miles of the Allegheny River were
designated Wild and Scenic River and the Allegheny
National Recreation Area was born with Pennsylvania's
only official wilderness lands. And this year, Congress is
considering enlarging the Pennsylvania Wilderness,
ensuring that this will always be a great spot to fish. For
authoritative info check out the
Hunting and Fishing
Museum of Pennsylvania, downstream in Tionesta.
